- Repentance
- Repentance is required for the forgiveness of sin.

- Repentance is not feeling sorry for having sinned.
- Repentance is making a conscious determination to turn in the opposite direction away from sin and toward God.
- Forgiveness
- Because of mans sinful nature, he is in need of forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.

- Man cannot save himself through his own good works because his works are not good enough to satisfy a supremely Holy God.
- Therefore, in humility he must repent of his sins before God and accept Gods forgiveness by faith.

- The non-believer is a slave to sin and needs to be purchased out of the slave market to be set free from sin and spiritual death.
- Christs redemption paid the price so that the believer need never sin again.

- Christ paid the redemption price so that man need not be sold under sin ever again so as to satisfy the perfect justice of God.

- Because of Gods love and mercy he offers salvation freely to the person that believes by faith in Jesus death of substitution on the cross.
- Religious ritual or good works are not sufficient to obtain salvation.

- Through faith and the confession of faith, the reality of salvation becomes real to the believer.

- Leaving sin behind, the believer is to live his new life by walking free from the sins of the past.

- The seal of the Holy Spirit assures the believer of eternal salvation.

- The soul is redeemed when man is born again. The body is redeemed at the Rapture of the church.
