(For the teacher: to resolve close test scores and make a final evaluation)
- Final Evaluation of the Students Scores
- To make a final evaluation of the students motivational gifts, using your Evaluation Sheet you need to:
- =1= Observe which gift has the highest total score (from the shaded line on your Evaluation Sheet). If one gift dominates, this is most likely the students gift and you do not need to evaluate further.
- =2= If the totals of two gifts are the same or very close, observe which of the two gifts has the highest score from the Characteristics section of the test. This will be the number on the first line under that gift on your evaluation sheet. This highest score will probably be the dominant gift.
- =3= Compare the gifts under the General Test that are marked 1 and 2 on the Evaluation Sheet. Does this clarify which of the two gifts is probably more dominant?
- =4= Consider the discussion during the class time that occurred from week to week as to what the other students thought was a persons gift. (Sometimes the students know each other better than the teacher knows the students.)
- =5= Consider the verbal answers you receive from the following questions directed to those students that have very close scores. (When there is no more conflict in your mind regarding a students gift, you are ready to evaluate. Go to Evaluation)
- Ask the following questions of those students that have close test scores to determine between two gifts (Do not tell them the name of the gift at the end of the question).
