Central issue from Gods perspective concerned the wickedness and potentialsalvation of thousands of people in Nineveh.
Conclusions:
Disobedience and running from God does not pay but can have dire consequences.Jonahs life is but an example. We need to see things from Gods perspective.Rebellion in the heart means we do not see things as God sees them.
Application:
God wants me to speak more boldly and witness to non-believers because of His mercy andgrace toward them. Even though they are sinful, I need to look behind the sin and seepeople as God sees them.
