- God, the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost)
- The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) as the eternal third member of the Holy Trinity is the both the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ.

- The Holy Ghost is the same as the Holy Spirit. (Luk 4:1)
- The Holy Spirit is not simply a force or an impersonal essence. The Holy Spirit is a personality in the same way as God, the Father, and Jesus, the Son.
- The Holy Spirit has feelings and can feel “grieved” and “quenched”, and “resisted”. (Eph 4:30) (1The 5:19) (Act 7:51)
- The Holy Spirit has a personal will in conjunction with the will of the other members of the Holy Trinity. (Act 2:33)
- The Holy Spirit has a mind. (Rom 8:27)
- He is eternal and equal to the other members of the Holy Trinity.
- The Holy Spirit anointed Jesus Christ and raised him from the dead.

- The Holy Spirit of Life makes us new creatures in Christ when we are born again.

- In the Old Testament times, the Holy Spirit did not indwell the believer permanently but anointed the believer for a specific task.
- The indwelling Holy Spirit works within the believer to bring about Gods plan for the believers life.

- The Spirit enables the believer to understand the Word of God.

- The Holy Spirit guides the believer according to the plan that God has for his life.
- The Holy Spirit guides the believer into the works that he should do.

- God gives power to the believer so that God will be glorified through the believers life.
- The Holy Spirit accomplishes supernatural acts producing fruit in the believers life.

- The fruit of a changed character is accomplished by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
- The out-working of a changed character produces good works for God.
- Just as there are various names given to the other members of the Holy Trinity, there are various names in Scripture for the Holy Spirit, as well as symbols that refer to the Holy Spirit.

Spirit of Life | The Spirit that comes to indwell the new believer when he is born again. He gives the believer a new spiritual life to live for Christ and eternal life. | Rom 8:2 |
