• God, the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost)
• The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) as the eternal third member of the Holy Trinity is the both the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ.

• The Holy Ghost is the same as the Holy Spirit. (Luk 4:1)
• The Holy Spirit is not simply a force or an impersonal essence. The Holy Spirit is a personality in the same way as God, the Father, and Jesus, the Son.
• The Holy Spirit has feelings and can feel “grieved” and “quenched”, and “resisted”. (Eph 4:30) (1The 5:19) (Act 7:51)
• The Holy Spirit has a personal will in conjunction with the will of the other members of the Holy Trinity. (Act 2:33)

• In the Old Testament times, the Holy Spirit did not indwell the believer permanently but anointed the believer for a specific task.

• Just as there are various names given to the other members of the Holy Trinity, there are various names in Scripture for the Holy Spirit, as well as symbols that refer to the Holy Spirit.
