Study Passage: 1Cor 10 Date:
Point of the Passage: (What does it say?)
Israel sinned in the wilderness and displeased God even though they were Godschosen people. Their sins and experiences are examples to us for we are all tempted tofall into various idolatries, but we are partakers of Christs blood and body, so weshould, therefore, avoid identification with anything of the world that leads intoidolatry. Idolatry provokes Christ to jealousy. All things are legal for me to do, but noteverything glorifies God or edifies me. For example, If a person ate meat at anon-believers house without asking its source, may cause another person to stumble. We should be concerned with others feelings.
